Students will learn to cut and refine their glass designs using various glass cutters, grinders, sanders, etc. During the kiln firing process, the glass designs and/or metals will be fired or soldered at temperatures ranging from 1250 degrees F to 1700 degrees F.

Designs by Sylvanye Glass Studio offers a wide range of workshops for beginners to advance. We also provide on-site training to art & craft schools, church groups, bead stores, pottery, and stained glass studios, as well as private studios, homes, and shops. We bring everything you need for the techniques you and your group want to learn which include kilns, glass, tools, and complete documentation.
Many of our designs can be found in offices, studios, and fine art gallery gift shops including the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian in Washington, DC, as well as the FRIST Center for the Visual Arts in Nashville, TN, and on display in the city hall of Zama, Japan.
