Sculptural Glass Vases and Candle Votives are uniquely versatile in both appearance and use. They can be used for decorative lighting with candles, as traditional vases for flowers or simply as sculptural art.  This workshop offers the student an opportunity to create one of three Vase styles.

During this 2 ½  hour workshop, students will create the essential form(s) by cutting a flat sheet of glass of their choosing and using cold-working techniques and equipment such as grinders and sanders to shape its form with interesting edges.

Finally, heat from a 1350-degree glass kiln will transform the decorative glass sheet into a one-of-a-kind glass Vase or set of Candle Votives.
