5 Jewelry Design Technique Series 1 Workshop
Learn to design and create five (5) unique jewelry pieces using a variety of fusible glass including dichroic to keep, gift or sell.
Students will learn to safely cut glass then assemble each piece for firing in the kiln. Below is a list of the five (5) jewelry design techniques:
- "Hole-In-One" - this technique does not require a bail and the design can be strung with chain or textile.
- "Mosaic" - this technique consist of chopped dichroic glass of various shapes and colors.
- "Sandblasted Artwork" - this technique allows you to select artwork to be sandblasted (sand etched) into your glass using a Cricut or Silhouette cutting machine.
- "Channel & Wire Jewelry" this technique creates a channel around the glass for insertion of beading wire.

"Drill-a-Hole" - this technique uses a Dremel to create a hole which to secure a jump ring.
TUITION includes all material, equipment, and glass for five (5) glass jewelry design techniques along with bails where applicable, beading wire for wire-wrapping and one .925 sterling silver chain.
SCHEDULE: 5 hours (45 min break)
PICKUP IN: 2 to 3 days except for Sunday and Monday
