One-Day WORKSHOP
 

 
Can I fire glass beads & cabs?  YES

      Can I fire copper enameled jewelry?  YES


YES, you can accomplish all of the above and more using the MicroKiln (microwave kiln) and your microwave oven.

YES believe or not, you can use you existing microwave oven along with the new revolutionary MicroKiln to create fantastic one of a kind designer jewelry.

You will learn to:  Create dichroic glass pendants and earrings along with learning to program your existing microwave to fire PMC or Art Clay Silver, the new Art Clay Copper,  ceramic bisque and copper enameled jewelry.

This workshop will also cover safety issues and technical aspects required for this and future workshops which utilize a MicroKiln.  Some previous glass cutting experience is useful, but not required. 

Materials included:  All supplies and equipment, dichroic glass, enamel paints including unfired PMC or Art Clay Silver and Art Clay Copper design.
You will take home several fused glass jewelry designs plus a fired PMC or Art Clay Silver and a Art Clay Copper pendant.

CONVENTIONAL GLASS KILN FUSING
(Create beautiful glass designs in one-day)
 
 


The goal of this class is to show students how easy and fun it is to make small infinite switched or computerized glass kiln fired projects such as earrings, pendants, key chains, tiles and coasters using dichroic, art and iridescent glass.  Students will learn to use their creative and artistic abilities.  Since this is a one-day workshop, we will concentrate on small projects.  


This workshop will also cover glass cutting techniques, firing schedules, safety issues and technical aspects required for this and future workshops which utilize a small glass kiln.  Some previous glass cutting experience is useful, but not required.
 

 

Materials included:  All supplies and equipment, including glass.
